Our Training

In order to maintain our promise to customers, their families and the local authorities we work for, training is critical. Our carers are trained on:

  • the correct procedures should they suspect abuse
  • all aspects of the Mental Capacity Act
  • nutritional risks and needs
  • care plans and how to document the needs and choices of customers
  • obtaining regular feedback from both customers and their families
  • the latest information for conditions such as dementia. Staff recently attended The Virtual Dementia Tour. We learnt what loved ones with dementia experience every day.
